What is your return policy?

Personal Styling Services:

We offer a 10 day cancellation policy on all of our virtual or in person styling appointments. This means all appointments must be canceled before 11:59 PM EST prior to the date of scheduled appointment. No exception for refund will be given after 10 days; as material and preliminary assessment have started prior to scheduled appointment.

 

Downloadable's:

WE OFFER NO REFUNDS ON ANY DOWNLOADABLE'S FROM OUR SITE. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

 

Please note, we have a strict return policy because our products are made when you order them. We are ethical in paying our materials vendors and the people who make the products.

If you find a defect upon receipt of delivery, please contact us immediately at info@jodytjan.com to initiate a return/exchange. Any return without a Return Authorization Confirmation will be sent back at the customer's own expense. No returns will be accepted without a Return Authorization Confirmation from us. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Approved items must be returned new, unused, and in the original packaging with tags and labels attached within 7 days of return approval. We will only accept returns for items that have not been worn, altered or washed will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your return after inspection. You will be offered an exchange or issued a lifetime Purchase Credit upon approval. Merchandise must be free of deodorant and other stains. If 7 days have gone by since delivery of your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange or purchase credit. As a sustainable and ethical brand, we do not believe in overproduction or deadstock because our products are costly to make.

Items purchased through third-parties outside of the Website cannot be returned to jodytjan.com or Jody Tjan facilities.All tags must be attached in original packaging.

To return your product, you should mail your product with the return authorization code to: 254 West 35th Street, Suite 902. New York New York US 10001. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a Purchase Credit, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your Purchase Credit.

 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

All international sales are final.

Sale Items

Only regular priced items may be returned or exchanged, unfortunately sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. Any discounted merchandise, sale merchandise and sample sale merchandise cannot be returned or exchanged at any time. All sale items are final.

Jody Tjan does not offer a sale price adjustment on merchandise purchased one day sales or flash sales. We are unable to offer price adjustments on items originally purchased on sale or on any special promotion items that are temporarily reduced in price.

Exchanges

We only replace items if we processed an order incorrectly or you received a damaged or defective item. If you need to exchange merchandise, please contact us at info@jodytjan.com. No returns are accepted without a Return Authorization Confirmation.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Please note that all Advance Orders take 3-8 weeks to fulfill. We will send you emails throughout the whole order process.

 

Sales tax is applicable to orders shipped within New York state. All international duties will be the responsibility of the customer.

 

All contiguous US orders will be shipped free with USPS.

 

International orders will be calculated at checkout and will be shipped FedEx or DHL.

 

We are unable to ship to P.O. boxes. If you entered a P.O. box as your delivery address we will reach out to get an alternative address which may delay your delivery.

 

We process orders within 1-2 business days, then ship domestic orders via USPS Priority Mail. For all shipped packages, we send the tracking number in an email. If you want to change the address or simply learn the whereabouts of your order you can contact the carrier.

Styles can be tried on in person at our NYC studio by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, — You can work with our one of our Personal Shoppers — We host pop-up and other shopping events, you can subscribe to mailing list to attend these events.

 

Why can’t I have a refund on my purchase?

We are truly a sustainable and ethical fashion brand. This means:

 

We have paid the materials vendors for the fabric — We have paid the people who made the product you have bought — Our advance order policy is a slow process as to give you time to think about your purchases should you want to change your mind — We do not keep stock of our products in deadstock because we only make the product when you order it — Just like we cannot go back to our vendors and the people who make the products for a discount or refund, we cannot offer you what we cannot or will not do ourselves

 

Can I return an item I bought on sale?

We do not want to keep these deadstock so we offer them on sale. This is why all sale items are final.

An item I bought went on sale, can I get a price adjustment?

Jody Tjan does not offer a sale price adjustment on merchandise previously purchased. We are unable to offer price adjustments on items originally purchased on sale or on any special promotion items that are temporarily reduced in price. We do not make our styles to sell but only when you have ordered them. Just like we cannot go back to our vendors and the people who make the products for a discount or refund, we cannot offer you what we cannot or will not do ourselves

 

Can you help me with an exchange?

Yes, if you need to exchange merchandise, please contact us at info@jodytjan.com. Please note, we will only replace items if the order was picked incorrectly in ordered size or if you received a damaged or defective item.
